Dhyana (Meditation)
Greetings Dear YogisThis week our spiritual sadhana is Dhyana (Meditation)
An uninterrupted flow of concentration, Dhyana is a state of being keenly aware without focus. Although concentration (dharana) and meditation (dhyana) may appear to be one and the same, a fine line of distinction exists between these two stagesDharana is the preliminary stage to dhyana the distinction is that in the practice of dhyana Viewer merges with that which is viewedThinker merges with the thoughtIndividual merges the whole*All imagined separation dissolves into truth of unity consciousnessAt this stage, the mind has been quieted and in the stillness it produces few or no thoughts at all. There is a deep realization of the profound connection to the Divine and interconnectedness with all living things
